Since 2005 on the Romanian market, Enel is one of the top 3 energy suppliers in Romania, with over 3 million clients. Through efficient Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns, leads increased by 36% over the last year.
CHALLENGE

• Increase the number of leads for energy and maintain the targeted cost per lead, while addressing only users from new Enel areas 
• Increase brand awareness in new Enel areas

OUR METHOD

• Targeted Search Campaigns in order to cover as many specific searches related to energy
• Remarketing campaigns to increase engagement 
• Smart Display campaigns
• Discovery Ads campaigns to improve CPL and cover new audiences through Gmail or YouTube
• Trueview for action campaigns in YouTube in order to reach new users. The CPL was similar to Display campaigns
• Facebook Ads campaigns using traffic and conversions objectives
• Facebook Ads campaigns tailored to specific audiences

We also used Machine Learning and Smart Bidding solutions in order to scale the number of leads and improve efficiency.

RESULTS

• Traffic increased by 68% YoY
• Lead volume increased by 36%, while not targeting clients from Enel areas anymore
• CTR improved by 85% using new ad copy, creatives and new ad formats in Google Ads
• We kept the cost per lead in our target costs
